]]> Our seat/planter combination is more than a garden bed, it is a piece of furniture. It would make a great addition to an outdoor entertaining space at home or a cafe/bar/pub. The possibilities are endless. It would look great with a pop of colour from annual flowers or a low growing feature bush like Toffee Apple (Syzygium Australe). Get creative with it!

Featuring a 900mm seat with a wicking planters at each end. Made from solid, eco-treated pine, the edges and corners are rounded and all surfaces sanded for a smooth finish. Ready for you to oil/paint/stain to suit your needs.

The first 2 pictures show a seat that has been oiled with 3 coats of Cabots Garden Furniture Oil (‘New Natural’). The product is supplied in the natural timber state (3rd photo). We recommend oiling this annually to keep the timber in good condition.

The planters are lined and ready for perlite and soil, both of which are supplied.

This is a very heavy unit and requires 2 people to move it.

Note the seat does not lift up for under seat storage. This feature is currently in design.

2000mm x 600mm x 605mm (l x w x h).

Crafted from 50mm thick, eco-treated pine sustainably grown in SA, this bed is designed to stand out. The timber can be oiled, stained or painted to create the look that suits your space – see pictures for examples. These planters are perfect for growing a tree in. The pictured example out the front of Scot’s Church in Adelaide CBD has a 2.5m Crepe Myrtle growing happily in it.

The V design of the bed allows wheelchair users to get under the sides so the soil is right in front of them ensuring a comfortable gardening experience. Also suits walkers or even simply a chair. We’ve taken extra care to smooth all the accessible timber surfaces. The overflow pipe is at one end of the bed, so no water leaks on to your lap whilst you’re gardening. The bed is fully lined using a a 0.5mm thick pond liner (certified as drinking water safe AS/NZS 4020:2018) with 3 WaterUps® wicking cells giving a water reservoir of ~55L.

The bed is supplied fully lined.
